What you see is what you get

Do you have an event coming up and you have an invitation that you are crazy about and want to tie it into your cake?  Or, you've been searching the internet and found a picture of a cake that you just loved. Or maybe you have an idea what you want for a cake.  Whatever the case may be, we've got you covered!  Here at Dessert Works, we are able to take any image you may have and recreate it on your cake.  Here are a few examples of cakes we have done.

This first cake was for a Baby Shower.  It was an adorable forest animal theme and the customer had purchased plates that they loved.  They sent us an image of the plate they had purchased and we took it from there.  Working with the customers budget, we were able to make a cake that really showed off the theme.  Take a look!

The next cake we would like to show is one that a customer provided us a cake image she found online.  She wanted a close replica of this cake with a few small changes.  As you can see, we got it pretty close!

The final cake we want to show you was a different approach.  The customer was not entirely sure what they wanted but knew some of the aspects they wanted incorporated into the cake.  We were able to work with the customers ideas and budget to create the perfect cake.  Below is a sketch that was done to show the customer and decorators just what they had in mind.

 

Now, while the drawing may not be museum worthy, it was able to show all the elements that needed to be on the cake.  You can also see the notes on the side about flavor, size and pricing.  Here is the fished product.
